We are looking for women who did not wait to make a difference — whether at work, at play, or in the community. You want to tell her Way to Go, Woman!

If you know of a young woman (under the age of 40) who has done something everyone should know about, nominate her to be featured in this special issue. Nominations should be made by noon June 13 at We will be featuring the five winners of each category in our September issue of Today’s Woman.

  2. Ashlee Clark Thompson

    I nominate Ashlee Clark-Thompson, a 33 year old writer and the culture editor at Louisville Public Media, who has agreed to serve as the president of the nonprofit Louisville Literary Arts, which serves adult literary lives, provides writing education and support throughout the year. She has taken on this role with a smile and, in two months, has already strengthened it! I know this, because I am its past president.

    Ashlee has already published a book, “Louisville Diners,” and operates a wonderful blog about eating!

    Ashlee is a natural leader. She is confident, capable, listens well and inspires trust.
