Appetizers are a great way to start the meal.  If you are a table of 4, why not share the cheese and Charcuterie plate.  Beautifully displayed on a rustic wooden board, patrons can choose three different meats and cheeses from a variety of items offered.

The meat choices ordered on this particular plate is an Italian Salami, Prosciutto Di Parma, and a spicy Spanish Chorizo.  The cheeses include the St. Francis, Sofia, and Trillium - the three range from a semi hard cheese to two soft cheeses.  The plate is adorned with nuts, olives, a whole grain mustard spread, and toasted bread rounds.

Looking for a small plate or light bite for lunch?  Try the beet salad.  Comprised of heirloom beets sliced and topped on a bed of arugula, and dotted with Capriole Farms goat cheese.  A light finish  with a balsamic vinaigrette completes the dish.  Light and refreshing and a great combination of flavors.

Welcome spring with the heirloom beet salad.

The sweetness of the heirloom beets off sets the sharp arugula flavor making this a great dish bursting with all sorts of complementary flavors.

For another great appetizer, try the seared scallops with wasabi cream and grilled corn relish.  Served with a mound of kelp that has been steamed with sesame seeds, this appetizer is delicious and the perfect start to an evening of seafood dishes.
