6 Things to Do With Your Thanksgiving Leftovers

Let's face it, we've never heard of a Thanksgiving where there weren't any leftovers. Every year, no matter how many people or how abundant the food, there is always enough good stuff leftover to eat on for the next few days. We polled some of our office staff to see what they do with their leftovers! Here's what they had to say.

"Everybody brings to-go containers and takes home what they want. They all come with their empty butter tubs! I also will try to get creative and form new recipes in order to use up whatever leftovers I take home." -Suzy Hillebrand, account executive

"We just eat on them for days! It's like having Thanksgiving over again for the next three days or so." -Tiffany White, editor

"It's very simple, I take a lot of stuff- mashed potatoes, turkey, green beans, and make a turkey pot pie! I even include the gravy and stuffing. Mashed potatoes in a pot pie is delicious!" -Melissa Donald, photographer and food writer

"I just make it into sandwiches!" -Cathy Zion, publisher

"Sometimes I'll do turkey vegetable soup or make potato cakes with the mashed potatoes." (Mashed potatoes, a little flour, an egg and some cheese mixed together and fried in small cakes makes for simple and easy potato cakes.) -Jillian LeMaster, office administrator

"We get creative with our leftovers. Some people like to eat on them like it's Thanksgiving again but I like to make fun recipes like Thanksgiving quesadillas or leftover inspired hot browns." -Alissa Hicks, media associate
