How to Transition Dresses into Fall Weather

Making your closet work year-round can be a huge challenge for some. Especially during these "in-between" days where it can start out at 59 degrees and end at 70+ degrees! It can be challenging trying to juggle seasons appropriately and knowing how to layer accordingly. Here are some inspirational ideas on how to transition your summer dresses (which you can probably find on sale right now!) to fall.

Quick tips
Add a fall textured or patterned jacket or sweater on top of a skirt or dress. Leather jackets are a great option or a great patterned open cardigan... (my favorite is tribal patterned right now).

Close-toed shoes are a clear statement for cooler weather months. Not only will they keep your toes warm, but they are more work appropriate. You can even pair boots and booties with a sweater dress or skirt to be able to dress for the appropriate season yet also those warmer temp days.

Don't forget... Layering is key. Know how to layer properly so you can shed a layer when the temperatures rise during the day but also add another layer to your outfit when the temperatures drop in the evening hours.
