Appetizer:  Scrumptious Mushrooms

Simple and delicious! This appetizer is a popular one, even with the non-mushroom lover. Make it days in advance and let it sit and marinate in the refrigerator. Winner Andrea Walker received this recipe from a former co-worker 23 years ago, and she has been making it for the holidays and special occasions ever since.

2 (24 oz) packs of whole mushrooms
1 bottle of Wishbone’s Robusto Italian Dressing
1 cup of red cooking wine (found near the vinegar section at your local grocer)

Wash mushrooms and place in a large pot with the Italian dressing and cooking wine. Bring ingredients to a boil and then simmer for one hour. Watch and stir occasionally so the mushrooms don't burn on the bottom of the pan.

Store in the refrigerator and serve at room temperature.
